The BALI Journey
A good choice Seafood Cafe at Jimbaran beach. Fantastic foods with Balinese sambal, vegetables and rices. You can choose fresh seafood at the counter and please don t forget to ask prices per kilogram seafood. Location on a White Sandy beach and perfect sunset in the evening. Also, available up deck seat under the roof. Toilet is Clean enough and all staff are friendly. Affordable prices except Lobster

We came here for lunch with a group of people, for a seafood barbecue, The restaurant has 2 sides; the cafe and the wine bar. We sat in the wine bar because of the heat, it had A/C. The restaurant is very well decorated and clean. They have a very large seafood menu. We ordered a few large platters with various types of seafood items. From what we understood, grilling was the only option. The food was good, nothing spectacular. Wish they gave us some dipping sauces. Prices can be high, I thought. Overall, great place with room for improvement. The staff are good, friendly.

I ordered a table for five to enjoy the sunset while having an early dinner. The service was a bit slow, maybe because there were a lot of visitors at that moment. Although the waiters were friendly and tried to accommodate our requests, My favorite dish was calamari; it was crispy and well-seasoned, and the squid was not fishy at all. Grilled fish and scallops were tasty and rich in spices. I recommend coming here with your family during sunset on weekdays, so it will not be too crowded.

Seafood was amazing and the sunset was mind blowing. I wanted to give 5 stars but the service wasn t the best. 2 of us sat closest to the water was stunning we arrived to our table which was fine only to be told we had to go all the way back to the front which is ages away when you have a bad knee to put our food and drinks order in. They need to introduce QR codes or self-serve online order it was bad enough to get a waiter attention to order more or know whether they d actually put the order through or not because so many other customers would stop them, a table next to us didn t get their complete order was abit nightmarish for them. Luckily ours didn t take long and the food was amazing but needs some attention to service

Service was very slow. Oysters were chewy and sauce on them not good. The taste overall quite bland.

I ordered for 35 guests at 1700 while waiting for sunset. The location is good, but very crowded on weekends. I ordered a set menu. The food menu that came out was different from what I ordered. When I asked the restaurant, they said that they replaced the squid satay menu with fried squid because the satay was not available without confirming with me first. The taste of the food was so-so, tending to be bland inside, like the seasoning did not penetrate either the side dishes or the kale. When sunset arrived, we were unlucky because the sun was covered by clouds.

Must visited restaurant in jimbaran. Has a great view when sunset. But in this beach atea is over crowded. We really love kerang bakar.

This used to be our place to go to when we craved for seafood by the beach at Jimbaran. However, the overcrowded guests, slow waitering service and too much smokes in the restaurant (especially if you dont get a place outside) started to get really disturbing. To make matters worse, the quality of the foods seemed to be drastically downgraded. With the exception of the grilled clams, the remaining foods that we ordered were just bland. Grilled fish was almost burnt, leaving very bitter taste of the meat, grilled prawns were not cooked evenly - some were still raw, squid in butter sauce was so so, the chilli crab was a huge dissapointment - the meat was little and the sauce was too salty, the veggie was ok but nothing special, the grilled baby lobster was just so so too..... I guess its time for us to seek for other alternatives in town.

Its a must go place if you are in Jimbaran and want to eat fresh seafood. Its an open air by the beach resto serving fresh seafood , which you can choose yourself when you come. The grilled clams, grilled fish and grilled prawns are so delicious and you should eat them with the sambal! Its a bit dark though only with candlelights on table, but it gives you a different experience of eating seafood
